Bolga basket / C (round, small size)
Biga's handwoven baskets are individually crafted by artisans in West Africa. Selected by the director of seed and soil.
Also known as Burkina Basket, it is an essential item used locally for everyday shopping and other purposes.
The fineness and density of the mesh give a sense of the careful work of the craftsmen.
It is delicate, flexible, and can be reshaped by wetting it with water.
The material used, "Guinea millet," is a grass plant with strong fibers that are also used for ropes. The baskets are resilient, strong, and long-lasting.
It can also be washed completely.
The brass tag attached to the handle is a handicraft by Touareg artisans. Each hand-woven basket is unique, so we hope you will enjoy using it for a long time.
